Byona Biyinzika Ministries (BBM) is a Not for Profit organization providing elderly care in Uganda to persons aged 65 years and above regardless of their gender, race or religion.
To further our Mission, Age Concern Inc.(ACI) the parent organization was Incorporated in Massachusetts in 2018 as a Non-profit organization. ACI works to increase awareness of the activities of BBM by raising it’s fundraising and staffing profile.
Celebrating Our Seniors: A Day of Joy, Appreciation, and Fellowship
On Saturday 3rd January, BBM held a special event dedicated to honoring and celebrating our elderly and senior community. Rooted in faith and compassion, the program featured entertainment, inspiring messages, personal testimonies, gift presentations, and shared meals, fostering meaningful connection, gratitude, and fellowship.
This event reflects our faith-based commitment to elderly care, social inclusion, and walking alongside our seniors with dignity, respect, and love.

#ElderlyClinicDay 11th December 2025,, Today’s Elderly Clinic Day in Mukono was a beautiful reminder of why we serve. We successfully conducted another impactful Elderly Clinic Day at Companion Health Care Center in Mukono.

Palliative & Hospice Care
We provide care and treatment twice a month to the elderly from their home surroundings. The elderly under the program are in areas of Nakisunga Mukono District, Kalerwe – Kampala District, Bududa and Mazuba -Namutumba District.
Domestic Care Package
A monthly domestic care package is distributed to the elderly in this program. The package include but not limited to food, clothing and any other essential commodities.
Elderly Clinic Day
We provide care and treatment twice a month to the elderly from their home surroundings. The elderly under the program are in areas of Nakisunga Mukono District, Kalerwe – Kampala District, Bududa and Mazuba -Namutumba District.

What we do for the elderly in Uganda
- We provide monthly, senior-focused medical care in Uganda, detecting and managing chronic illnesses early to improve the long-term health of elderly people.
- We deliver home-based palliative and hospice care for seniors in Uganda, easing pain and suffering while providing emotional and family support for elderly individuals.
- We supply vulnerable elderly in Uganda with essential food, clothing, and basic necessities each month, improving daily living conditions and quality of life.
- Our mobile health clinics reach rural seniors in Uganda, providing lifesaving medical exams, treatment, and health education where healthcare access is limited.
- We provide safe housing, nutritious meals, and medical care for homeless and abandoned seniors in Uganda, restoring dignity and hope for the most vulnerable elderly.
- We offer comprehensive home and bedside nursing services for elderly people in Uganda, ensuring proper medication, monitoring, and comfort for seniors who cannot travel.
- We strengthen the emotional and spiritual well-being of seniors in Uganda through faith-based support, prayer, and companionship, helping combat isolation and loneliness.
- We enhance hygiene and home safety for elderly people in Uganda by constructing sanitation facilities, clearing waste, and preventing disease, improving overall senior health.
- We host social and recreational events for seniors in Uganda, helping them stay active, reduce isolation, and improve emotional and physical well-being.
Why we do what we do?
- Because many elderly people in Uganda live in deep poverty, they lack food, medical care, shelter, and daily support — making our programs a lifeline.
- Because seniors face isolation and neglect, Many elderly individuals live alone or are abandoned, making emotional and social support essential.
- Because rural seniors cannot access healthcare Our mobile clinics and elderly care programs bring services directly to them.
- Because compassionate elderly care restores dignity Providing food, homes, medical care, and spiritual support gives seniors hope, value, and comfort in their final years.
Our Solutions for Elderly Care in Uganda
- Specialized Elderly Health Solutions: We provide comprehensive senior-focused medical care through our Elderly Care Clinic and reach rural seniors with essential healthcare via Mobile Clinics & Outreach.
- Compassionate Home-Based Care: We deliver comfort, pain relief, and emotional support at home through Palliative & Hospice Care and Home & Bedside Nursing Care for seniors who cannot travel.
- Essential Daily Living Support: We improve the lives of vulnerable seniors by providing Domestic Care Packages and safe accommodation, meals, and care at our Elderly Assisted Living Home (Kabembe).
- Spiritual & Emotional Wellbeing: We strengthen seniors’ mental and spiritual health through Evangelism & Spiritual Support and joyful social activities at Senior Connect Day.
- Community & Public Health Solutions: We enhance hygiene, safety, and disease prevention in elderly households through Public Health – Voluntary Day.
